I’ve noticed on my Instagram – where I’m honing my voice, please follow me if you are a Manifestor – I’ve been talking a lot about the subtle ways that change actually works in your life and business.

To no surprise, it’s definitely not registering with everyone.

This is to be expecte, because I wasn’t always ready for this information either.

I keep explaining over and over the other reason why people aren’t noticing the brilliant shortcut. It is because it’s TOO EASY.

People want things to be hard in order to feel like they’re getting somewhere.

Well, guess what, change is SUPPOSED to be easy, WE make it hard.

In fact, it confuses people sometimes who watch my Instagram stories where I sit at my computer and goof around with my cats and show my cute home office, that they don’t realize how BOSS that is.

It might not be your cup of tea, but my day is structured EXACTLY the way I want it to be.

I’m free, filled with joy, and inspired. Um…and I’m profitable.

From my beautiful station, I communicate to my talented Flourish Designer by phone and email to revel in all the great ways he is making Flourish clients happy.

I take calls from my totally cool coaching clients.

And I geek around on my computer, take little dance breaks, eat lunch and sometimes flit off to a sweet meeting with an exciting colleague or friend.

I’m not trying to brag, I’m just telling you IT’S REAL.

Do I worry and stuff? YEAH, it’s part of life, but I could worry and fret as the boss or an employee, it’s a choice.

That’s the OTHER thing people don’t want to see – that they CAN have what they want.

If they somehow partly believe that what they want is not possible, then they don’t have to make the changes to get there.

People love to struggle!

Because struggling is actually easier than thinking of a new way to do something…and it feels important.

Yeeeah. And people will also INSIST that an easy way doesn’t even exist when usually it absolutely does.

So here are a few of the subtle ways people allow struggle in their lives so they don’t have to achieve their dreams.

  • Tolerating people who are toxic, stressful, or dysfunctional
  • Allowing other people’s beliefs to rule your actions
  • Saying you want one thing, then acting out in ways that prevent it

Examples of the above would be…

  • Complaining that a partner isn’t meeting your needs but staying
  • Working at a job that meets the needs of your parents, not yours
  • Wanting more sales in your business but not actively getting them

Those all have to do with boundaries, tolerating, and desire.

In the end, we struggle on purpose because to change would be way too easy and we’d lose that identity of our important struggling self.

And even though I have tried to make it so easy, I know even then some people will not want to admit that it can be.

One of the reasons people don’t want to look at how easy to change can be is because to admit that you were doing something wrong in the first place is to be ashamed. And to feel that shame kinda sucks.

You do not want to be a suffragette of your own life!

But the place to begin rerouting where you might want to shift is by connecting with your desire.

It’s all subtle and easy, and I hope you have what you want now, or aim to get it!

Happy Manifesting,
