How to Find Gold you Already Have.

If I told you the gold at the end of the rainbow, was already in your pocket, would you believe me?

I remember watching those damn leprechauns. Hop around making cameo appearances in 80s cartoons and I said to myself with simple childhood envy, I’ll have gold someday.

Those leprechauns made me mad! They always acted so snarky and secretive. Like getting treasure was untouchable.

At that time I thought adulthood would provide the vehicle to find my wealth secrets, so this task went on the back burner.

By the time I had ‘grown up’ (ha ha), I was already pretty committed to the idea that all things worthwhile are achieved by working hard.

All the rest of the world had seemed to apply this method and so would I.

Work, work, work. Wait tables, college, college, college. Learn, pay dues, etc, etc.

Then, start my business, go balls to the wall with a passionate business building, make friends, have fun, go to sleep, repeat.

When I started getting all the things I wanted, I would start to see clearly how unrelated a physical manifestation of wealth would be from the inner state that having it inspired.

What I really coveted when I saw those cartoons was ‘the answer’, a feeling of oneness and comfort with who I am. The answer to a wide-eyed child seemed like maybe it could be in obtaining gold.

Gold, as it turns out, isn’t at the end of some cartoon rainbow.

The gold I coveted is just an inner state, one we are in charge of at all times.

Therefore, that little light bulb actually fell in my lap as I decided to stop working hard.

So, seeing that no amount of hard work changed my ability to laugh or cry, eat a good meal or enjoy a sunset. I realized I looked where I never needed to.

I started embracing my childlike desire to play more. Coming back to the side of the rainbow I had started on.

It ain’t meant to be hard.

When you stop trying so hard, the way reveals itself. Promise.

Happy Manifesting!
